Hello, I am Nicolas Reed. I am a third-year EECS (Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences) student at UC Berkeley who is passionate about computer architecture and hardware.

I currently serve as a Head Teaching Assistant for UC Berkeley’s introductury computer architecture course (CS 61C). In Summer 2026, I will join Apple’s Silicon Engineering Group as an intern in SoC Design Verification. I also conduct research in the UC Berkeley SLICE Lab under Professor Sagar Karandikar, focused on improving usability in the Chipyard and FireSim hardware development frameworks. Previously, I completed a Software Development Internship at Sandisk and served as a Head Teaching Assistant for UC Berkeley’s introductory programming course (CS 61A).
